The land is to be sold by public auction at the Protestant Hall, Hastings on Wednesday January 22, 1908. C B Hoadley & son - auctioneers have been instructed by Bernard Chambers Esq to offer part of his Te Mata Estate, consisting 20 allotments, from 5 acres to 20 acres.
The land with area sizes are around Te Aute Road, the Tukituki River and Te Mata Road. The Government fruit farm adjoins the property and A Tomba, F Dunn have adjoining land, bordering the lots for sale and fronting Te Aute Road. W S Davidson's orchard adjoins the Government fruit farm and land lots.
