The land is to be sold by public auction at the Oddfellows Hall, Waipawa on Thursday December 19, 1907. C B Hoadley & son - auctioneers have been instructed by Mrs Rathbone, wife of the late W Rathbone, to sell 12 business sites and 32 residential lots.
The land with area sizes are fronting the Great North Road, being ideal for business sites and the lots fronting Waverley Street are ideal for residential sites. On section 34, Melville Street, there is a cottage with water pump that will be up for auction. Mr Corskie owns a site fronting the Great North Road and adjoining lots for sale. The Williams & Kettle store is noted on the Great North Road.
