Plan of the subdivision of the Fairfield Estate, Ruataniwha Plains, Hawke's Bay consisting of 2566 acres.

The land is to be sold by public auction at Oddfellows Hall, Waipawa on Wednesday November 13, 1907. Horace Baker & son are to be the auctioneers.

The land with area sizes, to be divided into 11 farms from 60 to 757 acres and 56 small farms and suburban allotments from 1/4 acre to 19 acres in size is adjacent to the Onga Onga township. The estate is 6 miles from Waipawa and 176 miles from Wellington. Onga Onga, Wakarara, Blackburn and Makaretu were all originally part of the Fairfield Estate.

The land lots at Onga Onga border the Onga Onga Stream.The larger land blocks for sale border the Black Stream and Tukituki River and Forest Gate settlement to the North West. James Craig has land bordering block 67 and the Waipawa Mate Stream. Ben Gray has bordering land to the North, across the Black Stream and G Walker, W E Freemantle have adjoining land bordering Forest gate settlement, some 10 miles from Takapau.
