Land lots are to be sold by public auction at Walter J Tabuteau's sale rooms, October 30,1907. Wenley & Lanauze Ltd with John Couper & Co are to be the auctioneers. The lands that are Mr John Couper's Petane properties are bordering the sea and the inner harbour, about 5 miles North of Napier, near the turnoff to Petane. The land that is on account of France's estate is around the Rakamoana station, Esk River and between the old Taupo Road and the current road to Taupo.
The Petane block - T Tanner, borders the land for sale at the East, A Ellis's property adjoins W Wallace's property and land lots for sale, near the Rautoitoi Stream. H Carmichael has land to the West, bordering the Napier to Taupo road. The Kaiwaka homestead is noted bordering the Esk River, which belongs to the Dolbel brothers.
