Plan of Mount Herbert Estate land for sale.
The estate land lots are to be sold at auction at the town hall, Waipukurau on Wednesday July 3, 1907. Horace Baker & son and Speirs & Wilson, Christchurch - are to be the auctioneers.
Land lots with area sizes are situated around the Mangaohane Stream, Mangatarata Stream and the road from Waipukurau, which is 1 mile distant. Arlington Estate borders the land lots for sale at the South West end by the Kiore Rau Stream, adjacent to Mrs Hooper. J O'Neil has land bordering the Mangaohane Stream and the land lots for sale and is adjacent to F C Cook's property.
Mount Herbert Terrace section is at the West side bordering the Waipukurau - Porangahau road. A newspaper clipping is attached noting the purchasers of the land. Photographs printed on the plan show pictures of the Waipukurau sale yards. A locality map shows the general area to be between Wanstead and Waipukurau.
