Brief Description
A map of Te Mata District copied from Bousefield's Map, November 1852. The copy was drawn by J D H Buchanan in 1948. The map includes two different Māori land holdings and their approximate size: Karanama's land, about 4000 acres and Moananui's land, west of Tukituki, 16500 acres. Within Moananui's land is Kohinerakau, Karituwhenua, Waipuna, Wakaparata and Te Ruhuti Tripuna.
