The land is to be sold at public auction on Monday March 26, 1906. C B Hoadley & son - auctioneers received instructions from Mrs J Rhodes to sell the land by auction at the Oddfellows Hall, Waipawa.
Land lots, area sizes consisting of approximately 1200 acres, subdivided are situated in the vicinity of Blackburn and Whakarara settlements, around the Waipawa River, the proposed new road to the Ruahine Special settlement and Blackburn Road which is 6 miles from Onga Onga. Mrs Rhodes has other property to the South of the blocks for sale, bordering Blackburn Road.
W Aitkin and W Bibby are adjacent land owners to the South West. The sawmill is noted on block 4, near the Ruahine settlement road.
