The land is to be sold at public auction on Monday March 26, 1906. C B Hoadley & son - auctioneers received instructions from W Moroney to sell the land by auction at the Protestant Hall, Hastings.
It has been noted that, due to the Borthwick Freezing Works starting soon, there will be a huge demand for the land. Land lots and area sizes are shown around the Maraekakaho - Pakipaki road and the Wellington to Napier main road, being 17 miles to Napier.
