The land is to be sold by public auction on November 28,1904. C B Hoadley & son are to be the auctioneers.
Land lots, area sizes are shown fronting the corner of Munroe Street and Raffles Street. Nelson Brothers have land bordering lot 6 and Station and Thackeray Street. Hawke's Bay Steam Laundry Ltd has land on Thackeray street. The Masonic Hall is on lot 356, on Munroe Street. J V Brown & Co have premises on Station Street, next to the Terminus Hotel and the station master's house is noted on Munroe Street. The Roman Catholic Cathedral is on the corner of Station Street and Munroe street.
