Brief Description
Miscellaneous records of the Central Hawke's Bay Earthquake Relief Committee between February 1931 and May 1932 in a Public Trust file: Record No PT 13.

The documents are originals or copies of letters, memorandums, telegrams, applications to repair dwellings, mounted newspaper cuttings, minutes of meetings held by the committee, blank forms, lists and documents in shorthand. Some documents have handwritten signatures or initials including those of Public Trust office staff. The minutes include weekly expenditure reports and applications for financial assistance. Included is a typed and handwritten list of the names and district of members of the committee.
