The land is to be sold by public auction on the 5 September 1900. C B Hoadley & Co in conjunction with Baker & Tabuteau - auctioneers, have received instructions from Messrs Gordon & Moore to sell 62 allotments.
Land lots with area sizes are situated around Munroe Street, Dalton Street, Vautier Street and Raffle Street. Mrs Thayer's house is located on Munroe Street, near the Vautier Street turn off. The pumping station is noted on the Dalton Street, Vautier Street corner.
