The land is to be sold by public auction on Tuesday December 31, 1895. C B Hoadley & Co are to be the auctioneers.
Land lots with area sizes are situated around Ossian Street, Colin street and Campbell Street on the Spit section and Shakespeare Road, Kohi Road and Sea Point Road at the base of the hill, in Napier. J Orr has property on lot 26 adjoining Sea Point Road. The Shakespeare Hotel is situated at the bottom of Shakespeare Road on the Ahuriri side of the hill, opposite the harbour board office. W Schmidt owns lot J, on the corner of Kohi Road and Shakespeare Road. J McBryde has land bordering Campbell Street and Colin Street on the Spit and G Fenwick has land on the corner of Ossian Street and Colin Street.
