Brief Description
A folder labelled Demolition, number five, containing assorted documents including letters, copies of letters, and telegraphs related to the Napier Citizen's Earthquake Control Committee.

Three pages of authorisation forms for the Napier Citizen's Earthquake Control Committee to demolish the residue of buildings and materials from sites and for the owners to pay for the costs off-set from any relief funds available. The forms have handwritten lists of buildings and addresses, including the Daily Telegraph, Mason and Dunn, H B Women's Club, Sainsbury, Logan and Williams and many others (approximately thirty). There are two copies of authorisation form for the Napier Citizen's Earthquake Control Committee to demolish the residue of buildings and materials from sites and for the owners to pay for the costs, off-set from any relief funds available.
