Object detail
Brief Description
A commemorative ribbon that reads: Hail to the Expansion of Empire of Right! There is nothing that God has judged good for us that He has not given us the means to accomplish - Burke
The first sentence is across the top and the quote is across the bottom. In the centre is a union jack, over which is superimposed a circular image of a general, possibly General Baden-Powell.
It is undated but would have been made during the South African (Boer) War, probably after the battle of Mafeking in 1900.
