The land for sale is situated around the Mangaongaonga Creek,Purimi Creek and Ngahape Creek area. The auction was attended by large numbers of bidders. A list of purchasers accompanies the plan:
J Pocock 21 acres - £8 per acre.
W Goodwin 356 acres - £3 per acre.
D M McDonald 535 acres at £4 per acres.
