Brief Description
A permit book issued by the Earthquake Relief Organisation containing repatriation permits and copies.
The permit book is numbered 5101-5150. Only permits 5101-5114 have been issued. The permits list the name and travel details of the permit holder and the date range for their use in December 1931. The permits are signed by W Harvey. A piece of carbon paper remains inside the back cover of the permit book. The names of some permit holders are indecipherable.
Permit holders are: Hammond surname possibly Heiford, Edward Fairbrother, June or Jane Fairbrother, Betty Herron, Theo Herron, Douglas surname possibly Wensham, Freda Wensham, Kenneth Whittington, Dorothy Jones, Ivan Johnston or Johnstone, Claude Sutherland and Rae Campbell.
