Brief Description
A permit book produced by the Earthquake Relief Organisation containing one permit, permit copies and a handwritten note.
The permits are for travel back to Napier. The permits list the name and travel details of the permit holder. Some permits are headed: Refugee and some list expiry dates. Some permits are cancelled.
The permit book is numbered 4701-4750. The name: W Harvey is stamped on some pages. Number 4722 is a loose permit with its copy. Inside the book is a handwritten note for Mr Spiller dated 12 May 1931, with a request for an extension of a permit due to illness. There is an annotation on the back of the note.
