Brief Description
A memorandum from the Earthquake Relief Committee at Tiffen Park House, to Mr A Hobson, the food controller at the Barrack's building in Kennedy Road, Napier.

The memorandum is dated 14 April 1931 and is signed on behalf of the Secretary of the Earthquake Relief Committee, surname, Douglas. The memorandum regards claims against the food controller's department and enclosed accounts for P Burton, Toop and Neilson, and a statement and two accounts for D S Laing and Son Limited. The writer asks that the claims be checked and certified in the usual manner.

The writer also states that a letter is enclosed from A McRae, and a letter regarding an invoice to Murray Roberts and Company. A handwritten annotation mentions a letter from Woodford House.
There is a pencilled annotation and a stamp on the back of the memorandum.
