Brief Description
A memorandum from the Earthquake Relief Committee at Tiffen Park House, to Mr A Hobson, the food controller at the Barrack's building in Kennedy Road, Napier.
The memorandum is dated 10 April 1931 and is signed on behalf of the Secretary of the Earthquake Relief Committee, surname, Douglas. The memorandum regards claims against the food controller's department and enclosed accounts from Player Brothers, O'Rourke and Sons, and Murdoch's Limited. The writer asks that the claims be checked and certified in the usual manner.
A handwritten postscript advises that an account for T Prebensen is attached and could Mr Hobson certify the first two items if he has knowledge of them.
