Brief Description
A memorandum from the Earthquake Relief committee at Tiffen Park House, to Mr A Hobson, the food controller at the Barrack's building in Kennedy Road, Napier. The memorandum is dated 18 March 1931.
The memorandum is signed on behalf of the secretary of the Earthquake Relief committee by surname Douglas. It is regarding an enclosed invoice received from A A Hastings & Company Limited for torches supplied on order and signed by Mr L Stevenson [sic]. The writer asks if it could be certified that the goods were ordered by and received at the Food Depot and supplied to Nelson Park.
No invoice is sighted with the memorandum.
