About this object
The photograph shows Marine Parade, Napier. It has been taken from the Napier baths and looks towards Te Mata Peak. The Tom Parker fountain is in the centre of the photograph behind which is the colonnade and soundshell.

The T & G building is visible behind the Norfolk pines which line Marine Parade.

The photograph was taken after the 3rd February 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake.
