Brief Description
Invoices from Ellison and Duncan Limited to the Napier Food Control Committee. A letter from E Perry to the secretary of the Napier Food Control Committee and a letter from the Napier Food Control Committee to Ellison and Duncan Limited. The invoices are on Ellison and Duncan Limited printed forms and are for provisions supplied following the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake. They are dated 27 April 1931, 25 February 1931, 26 March 1931 and 12 May 1931.
One form lists credited goods. The invoice dated 12 May is cancelled. One invoice is written on an A L Falls and Company form and has the letterhead crossed out. One invoice is for goods taken over by the Food Control ex Ellison & Duncan's lorry on 6 February, 1931. Goods on the invoice have been crossed out or marked as returned.
A letter from E Perry is regarding goods taken by Mr Shearer from Mr Perry's store in Taradale. Mr Perry asks the Napier Food Control Committee to pay Ellison and Duncan. Mr Perry's letter is written from Shannon and has a Napier Relief Committee stamp.
