Brief Description
A letter in it's original envelope written to Hal Nash from his grandfather Walter Nash. It is written on paper with the official Dominion of New Zealand, Minister of Finance letterhead.
(a) Envelope addressed to Mr Hal Nash Thompson Road, Napier. The envelope has stamped on it: Don't waste anything useful. It also has stamped on the flap: Minister of Finance New Zealand.
(b) Letter - in the letter Walter Nash is thanking Hal Nash for his Christmas gift which he has given to help the war effort. It is dated 30 December 1940.
