Handwritten memorandum in which G Worgan writes to the Defence Minister regarding the nature of the mortgage system currently operating in the province. He references a transaction conducted on behalf of William Ellingham relating to two blocks of land, Koroki 1 and 2. This land was surveyed by G Worgan and went before the Native Land Court.
