An interesting historical event being allotments which are to be sold at public auction on June 1, 1837, and the official valuations made in 1888.
Shows land lots, area sizes around Collins Street, Bourke Street, Flinders Street, King Street and Swanston Street, Melbourne, Australia.
Land lot number 18, bought by J H Wedge for £67, and the current valuation is £244.
Wilson & Eyre bought land on lot 17 on Collins Street, at a cost of £31 and current valuation of £132.
The customs site is located on the corner of Williams Street and Flinders Street.
