Brief Description
A letter to C O Morse from the secretary of Nurserymen and Florists, J N Anderson and Son Limited. Included with the letter is a typewritten invoice and handwritten lists.
The letter on company letterhead paper is dated 24 March 1931 and is signed on behalf of Anderson's by secretary, A Campbell. It advises C O Morse that the amended account is enclosed and asks that it be passed on to the right department. The letter has a Napier Relief Committee date stamp.
The two page typewritten invoice on company letterhead is dated 28 February 1931 and lists the dates and the cartage services provided in Napier between 4 February 1931 and 21 February 1931. The total number of hours is typed in red beside each description. A breakdown of the hours has been added, handwritten in red ink. Annotations are written in pencil. The invoice has the addressee changed in pencil from the Food Control Committee to Napier Relief. An annotation at the top of the invoices states that the amended accounts are attached.
