Brief Description
A handwritten invoice on a printed company form dated 16 February 1931 to the Public Works Department of Napier from Barry Brothers Limited.
The invoice is for charges for vehicles providing cartage services during the clean up after the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake between 3 and 20 February 1931. The invoice lists the date, vehicle and service provided, duration and the cost of the service. Includes the subtotalled amounts which have been added in ink with an annotation by H R Hunter on behalf of A H Hyde of the transport department showing that the invoice was certified correct and in order for payment. Adjustments made in red pencil list the final amount to be paid to Barry Brothers Limited.
