Conveyance of interest in the Putere land blocks from Māori to Murray Roberts & Co.
The three men cited as purchasers are William Murray of Melbourne, Charles Cairns Murray formerly of Napier but now absent from the colony and John Roberts of Dunedin - all under the firm of Murray Roberts & Co.
The Putere Block is near the Mohaka and Waiau Rivers. The Māori owners have not sold. On the back pages is a small map of the area. The deed has 188 written on it - waiting for the last number as a date.
