Brief Description
Programmed for the Port Ahuriri Bowling Club and Lawn Tennis Club plain and fancy dress ball programme held on Tuesday evening, 8 October 1895 in Wenley & Lanauze's new warehouse.
The ball was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Right Hon the Earl of Glasgow, GCMG, Lady Glasgow, Lady Alice Boyle and Suite, the Captain and Officers of H.M.S. Ringarooma and Goldfinch, His Worship the Mayor and Mayoress.
The programme was in two parts and lists the dances in numerical order. The President of the Port Ahuriri Bowling and Tennis Club was R D D McLean and the Vice Presidents were G S U Wenley and Frank Bee.
R Puflett was the Chairman and J Wolstenholme was the Hon Secretary.
