Brief Description
A typed letter with envelope addressed to the Co-ordinator Earthquake Memories from J M Flack.

The author was born in 1919 and attended Takapau School. The main memory of the earthquake is of the cars and ambulances conveying the injured and displaced; and of having to wait for up to an hour to be able to cross State Highway 50 on their horses, and make the 5 mile journey to Ashley Clinton.
