Brief Description
Requisition for food; Public Works Department. 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake.
Three requisitions from the Public Works Department in Napier to the officer in charge of food supplies at the Food Depot. Each requisition has an identification number and all request that the charges be made to the Public Works Department.
Number 231 is dated 14 February 1931 and is to supply bread to men employed on road repair work at Tangoio. The memorandum is signed by the District Engineer, A Dinnie.
Number 2 is dated 18 February 1931 and is for provisions for 24 men employed at the Taradale sub-station. The memorandum is signed on behalf of the District Engineer by J Hannah.
Number 195 requests the supply of stores to Mr M Christensen of Messrs Christensen Brothers and is signed by the Chief Clerk, J Hannah.
