Brief Description
Fuel requisitions attributed to E A Williams, C Findlay, C O Morse and S P Spiller used during the 1931 Hawke's Bay Earthquake.

Nine fuel requisitions with an accompanying note dated 26 February.
Three requisitions on On His Majesty's Service letterhead to the Transport Department for fuel for Mr Hawke, Mr Gerich and W Apperley. At the bottom left of the envelope is printed Earthquake Relief Committee, Hastings. The requisitions are stamped for and on behalf of the Citizens Control Committee and are signed by E A Williams.

Three requisitions on Napier Borough Council Requisition forms numbered 4916, 4918 and 4919 to Motor Transport for fuel for the Water and Drainage Department. The requisitions are signed by C Findlay.

Three requisitions on Napier Citizens Control Committee Headquarters letterhead paper. All are to the Transport Department for fuel for V Jorgenson, G Scott-Smith and A Oliver. One requisition is signed by C O Morse and two by S P Spiller. Encircled numbers include 240, 238 and 237.
