Brief Description
Six fuel requisitions signed by or on behalf of A M Oliver and used during the 1931 Hawke's Bay Earthquake.
Two requisitions on Napier Borough Council requisition forms, numbers 0952 and 1436. In receipt of fuel are Mr C D Northe and Mr Ennor. Number 1436 has Napier Borough Council crossed out and replaced by New Zealand Govmt [sic].
Three requisitions to the Shell Company and Texas Company dated 12 and 13 February 1931. Two are for the Rivers Board and one the Harbour Board. In receipt of fuel are Mr E B Gee and Mr T Farrell.
Included is one handwritten chit dated 12 February 1931 to the Shell Company for the supply of fuel to Mr J Huggins. It states that the charge is to be made to the New Zealand Government. Mr E R Gladding has signed for the Health Department on 15 April 1931 as having received the original.
