Brief Description
Fuel requisitions from A M Oliver and F G Smith used during the 1931 Hawke's Bay Earthquake. Dated 12 to 15 February 1931.
A batch of eight fuel requisitions relating to water relief. One is signed by, and six signed on behalf of A M Oliver and one form is signed by F G Smith. One is on a printed Shell Company of New Zealand Limited green form numbered 33533 and dated 15 February 1931. The form states the fuel sold and delivered to W B Anderson, AARD Station, Napier is 195 gallons of Shell motor spirit. The form is signed by A M Oliver. The reverse side of the form is a fuel requisition to the Public Works Department for fuel for Watercart number 3, signed by A M Oliver.
Six fuel requisitions to Shell, Vacuum Oil Company and Texas Company on Napier Borough Council License to Drive Motor-Vehicle forms numbered 1832, 1816, 1804, 1803, 1853 and 1838. The requisitions state the charge is to be made to the New Zealand Government. Those in receipt of fuel are Mr A H Dawson, J Carmichael, Mr A P Chambers, Mr Fiske, Mr A Swainson and A Wright.
One fuel requisition on a Public Works Department Works Requisition form numbered PWS 54 and dated 14 February 1931 to Waterworks Engineer Mr Carmichael of Wellington, Transport Office. The requisition is signed by F G Smith.
