Brief Description
Letter from Alfred Fraser, solicitor to the Beetham brothers, explaining that the 1877 probate for Mere Horo, a landowner in the Kairakau land block, had been overturned due to a will produced in 1884 by Airini Tonore and Teira Tiakitai. He notes that Airini was also the applicant to have successors appointed. In the second page Fraser outlines the success of the land transfer of Te Apiti through the Māori Land Court.
