Brief Description
Requisitions for fuel, post 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake.
Ten requisitions for the supply of petrol or benzine, handwritten on various scraps of paper as follows:
Two requisitions for the supply of petrol, on AARD Motor Services receipts dated 3 February 1931. One requisition has the word Relief and is signed by R Graham. The second requisition has an illegible signature but states that it is for workmen.
Two requisitions to the Shell Company dated 12 February 1931, for the supply of petrol and oil to Mr H Smith, with the charges to be made to the New Zealand Government. Both requisitions are written on License to Drive Motor-Vehicle forms issued by the Napier Borough Council and signed by A M Oliver.
A requisition to AARD Service Station to supply the bearer with five gallons of petrol and signed by Ormond, Transport Department.
A requisition to AARD, dated 11 February 1931, from Nelson Park, Napier, to supply H Sergent, on duty with the Red Cross with 10 gallons of benzine. The request is signed by R Mann on behalf of Finlayson.
A requisition for the supply to the bearer of four gallons of benzine; signed Lieutenant Carpenter on behalf of Captain Finlayson.
A requisition for the supply of a case of petrol to Tom Burke, dated 6 February 1931 and signed by Captain Finlayson.
A permit and requisition for benzine for Mr Workman to go to Te Aute to repair his lorry; signed by Henry M Adams of the Transport Office and stamped H B Napier (partially legible).
