Brief Description
Map, Lake Waikaremoana. NZMS 239.Topographical map of Lake Waikaremoana showing state highways, tracks, contour lines, waterfall and bush in the Piripaua, Kaitawa, Lake Waikaremoana, Urewera National Park. Red boundary lines denote the Urewera National Park boundaries. An index of place names is included together with a locality map.

Some details are also included, for example that Lake Waikaremoana has a shoreline of 60 miles and is over 800 feet deep. Noted is the fact that the bed of Lake Waikaremoana is Māori land leased to the crown and administered under the National Parks Act 1952.
