To be offered at auction on Friday October 23, 1908 at the Garrison hall, Napier. C B Hoadley & Son Ltd - auctioneers have been instructed by the Hon J D Ormond to offer a portion of his well known Wallingford Estate, which is subdivided into 11 blocks varying in area from 82 acres to 1,566 acres.
The property is situated about 14 miles from Waipukurau railway station. It is noted that a guide is available from the estate, and, that horses can be obtained from Mr Housemen from Waipukurau.
The land blocks border the Manga Te Weke Stream and Turaekaetae Swamp, and the main road from Waipukurau to Porangahau crosses several blocks for sale.
A locality plan is included noting the property to be near Wanstead and Wallinford.
