Brief Description
Plan, Napier Inner Harbour proposal.
The proposed Inner Harbour extensions and reclamation areas recommended by Messrs keele & Cullen - consulting engineers and adopted by the Napier Harbour Board - 1912.
The plan shows areas to be dredged to a uniform depth, areas to be reclaimed, works to be commenced first and future works to complete the scheme in the Ahuriri Lagoon area.
The plan also covers from Napier South, Scinde Island and Harbour Board endowment areas.
Depth soundings are shown around the Inner Harbour entrance area.
A cross section of the area to be dredged through the channel, typical section of the West Quay extension and a cross section of channel & moles is included.
