Notice is given that the under mentioned lands are open for sale or lease to discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, noting that applications will be received up until Thursday November 8 1917.

The Awa-O-Totara block, known as the Putorino Station is 35 miles north of Napier on the Napier - Wairoa road, and comprises 16,077 acres, divided into fourteen sections ranging from 642 acres to 1,469 acres.

The land blocks with area sizes are specifically located in the Waikare River, Matahoura River, Tatara-O-Te-Rauhina block and Heru-A-Turea block.
K McKenzie, lessee has property adjoining land block No 2 and H Guthrie-Smith, lessee has property bordering land block No 5.
