Brief Description
Circular, Freehold land, Northland. Circular 2BB.
Describing land for sale - 42,000 acres freehold. Land transfer title of which 12,000 acres are grass, and are situated at the extreme north west of the Dominion at Cape Reinga having a frontage to the Parenga Harbour on the east, with the ocean as its boundary on the west and north.
Also noted is that the Northern Company's steamers call regularly and a freezing works is to be erected at the Bay of Islands some 90 miles down the coast.
The land to be sold carries 6,000 sheep, 1,350 cattle, 50 to 60 horses, and the price per acre is £1.15.
