Brief Description
Architectural plan and permit, Trustees Napier Baptist Church, post 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake.

a) An architectural drawing by Havill Brothers for a suggested verandah for the Napier Baptist shops in Clive Square, Napier.

b) An application to the Napier Borough Council by Havill Brothers dated 20 August 1931 for a building permit for the addition of a verandah to an existing shop. The permit application lists details of the proposed temporary addition, construction materials, property owner's, builder, contract price, cost estimate and the building fee. The permit number is 583 and the plan number E/31/249. The permit is issued subject to the conditions stated and is stamped for approval by building inspector E Grant on 21 August 1931.
