Brief Description
Architectural Plan, Tin Town, post 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake.

a) An architectural blueprint produced for the Napier Borough Council showing the proposed layout of the shopping area to be built by Fletcher Construction Company in Clive Square, Napier. The plan shows the name and proposed location of each business, facilities and the existing path, gardens and boundaries. Inscribed on the plan is the service offered by each business. The plan also shows drain and sewer lines.

b-c) Two application forms to the Napier Citizens Control Committee for temporary building permits for business premises lists Fletcher Construction Company as the applicant on behalf of the owners the Napier Borough Council. The permit and plan numbers are shown on both application forms. The permit details include the cost and materials to be used in the construction. One permit is dated 25 March 1931.

d) The documents are in an A4 envelope which lists the details of the plan and permit application.
