Brief Description
Map of trenches in Belgium during World War I dated June 1917.

Shows West Hoek, Pervysev, Keyem to the North and Stuyvekenskerke, Dixmude, Eessen and Woumen area to the South of West Hoek. The map notes communication trenches, fighting trenches, A A guns, machine gun posts, trench mortars, first aid posts, wire entanglements, artillery tracks and munitions dumps around the area. Contour lines, towns, roads are included.

Black pen notations around Beerst and Viadsloo:
Viadsloo - O P No9
Near Beerst - Fme De La Victoire.
Wire entanglements are noted stretching from Beerst, Viadsloo to Bom de Couckelaere at the North end.
