Architectural plan and permit, Simmonds and Company, post 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake. Two architectural plans and building permit applications.
a) An architectural plan by Holder Brothers for offices and a blacksmith shop to be located in Dickens Street, Napier. The plan lists the building specifications and is numbered E/31/70.
b) An application to the Napier Citizens' Control Committee for a temporary building permit for business premises. The application is signed by Holder Brothers and names Simmonds and Company as the owners of the businesses. Further details include the locality, section number, nature of business, estimated cost, and construction materials. The permit application is dated 22 April 1931 and is numbered 1107.
c) A plan is for a proposed temporary shed for Messrs Simmonds and Company showing the measurements of the new temporary building and surrounding buildings. It includes a list of materials.
