Brief Description
Architectural plan and permit, Higgins Estate, post 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake.
a) An architectural plan for the proposed temporary verandah and repairs to Eames Property (Higgins Estate) in Dickens Street, Napier by Robert Holt and Sons Limited. It states that the plan is not approved and that even with modifications that only a temporary permit would be possible.
b) An application by Robert Holt and Sons Ltd to the Napier Citizens Control Committee for permission to repair temporary business premises belonging to Higgins Estate in Dickens Street listing the estimated cost and materials.
c) A letter addressed to the District Engineer at the Public Works Department, Napier from S Grant, Building Inspector at the Napier Borough Council requests that the plans and specifications of the proposed reconstruction to the business premises of Eames and Company (Higgens [sic] Estate) be placed before the Borough Council Inspectors for their perusal. The letter is numbered No.10.
d) Documents are contained in an A4 envelope printed and handwritten with details of the application.
