Colenso hill property consisting of approximately 30 acres is to be sold by auction on Wednesday December 13, 1899. C B Hoadley & Co, auctioneers have been instructed by R L Colenso Esq to auction the hill property which is subdivided into 56 allotments.
The allotments are shown with area sizes in the Carlyle Street, May, Hooker and Colenso Avenue areas.
The land between Napier Terrace and Colenso Avenue is listed as church property.
