Brief Description
Three pages of News Bulletin Number Eight issued by the Daily Telegraph with the co-operation of Messrs Ball and Company on February 13, 1931. The bulletin reports on the aftermath of the Hawke's Bay earthquake of 3 February 1931. One is original page and two are photocopied pages.

The bulletin reports include local, national and international news. Included is a report on the second worst shake since 3 February 1931 which caused further damage to Bluff Hill and Dr Moore's hospital; Supplement to the Death Roll; Disastrous Fire at Freezing Works in Wairoa; Stray dogs to be held at the public pound at the Borough Yard in Thackeray Street and a note that there was no issue of the News Bulletin on Thursday 12 February 1931 due to mechanical difficulties.
