About this object
The photograph shows the damaged De Pelichet, McLeod and Company Limited building on Lyndon Road, Hastings which was destroyed in the 3 February 1931 earthquake. The roof has completed collapsed causing the façade of the top floor to shear off thereby exposing the interior rooms.
