Brief Description
Plan of the Runanga Falls station, Napier - Taupo Road comprising 16,865 acres. Land blocks are noted on the Napier - Taupo Road between Tarawera and Taupo which is 60 miles from Napier and 23 miles from Taupo. The Māori reserve of 8,000 acres is next to the Napier - Taupo Road bordering Sinclair County, where Mr Carswell carried 3,000 breeding ewes.
Attached is a handwritten note from G W Russell to Williams & Kettle Ltd describing the land in the Runanga Falls area, with the intention of selling a portion of the Falls Station. Mr Russell notes that he wants 12/6 per acre but will consider 10/- . He notes that the rainfall is 80 inches per year.
